Estimating the Estrada index

TLDR
In this paper, lower and upper bounds for the Estrada index of G are established in terms of the number of vertices and number of edges of the graph and some inequalities between EE and the energy of G were obtained.

The Physics of Communicability in Complex Networks

TL;DR: The communicability measures reviewed in this paper are defined by taking into account all possible routes between two nodes, assigning smaller weights to longer ones and the notion of locality in complex networks is reviewed.

Atom–bond connectivity and the energetic of branched alkanes

TL;DR: In this paper, a new topological approach for the stability of linear and branched alkanes as well as the strain energy of cycloalkanes was introduced, and it was shown that the ratio of 1,3-interactions with respect to the total number of 1 2,2-, 1, 3- and 1 4 interactions plays a fundamental stabilizing role in the energetic of alkanes.

Subgraph centrality in complex networks.

TL;DR: A new centrality measure that characterizes the participation of each node in all subgraphs in a network, C(S)(i), which is better able to discriminate the nodes of a network than alternate measures such as degree, closeness, betweenness, and eigenvector centralities.

Spectral measures of bipartivity in complex networks

TL;DR: It is shown that the bipartivity characterizes the network structure and can be related to the efficiency of semantic or communication networks, trophic interactions in food webs, construction principles in metabolic networks, or communities in social networks.
