The interaction of nucleons with antinucleons II. Narrow mesons near threshold—Experiments and theory
Carl B. Dover,J.M Richard +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compare and contrast several theoretical approaches which could account for a new class of narrow mesons recently observed in the mass region 1.5 − 3 GeV/c2, particularly those clustered near the antinucleon-nucleon (N N ) threshold.
Journal ArticleDOI
General characteristics of the annihilation reaction pp → 3π+ 3π− (π0) at 3.6 GeV/c
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of resonance production in antiproton-proton interactions at 3.6 GeV/c has been analyzed in order to investigate pion annihilation.
Journal ArticleDOI
A study of the reactions π+d → dπ+π−π+ and π+d → dπ+π−π+π0 at 11.7 GeV/c
D. Kemp,M. C. Scarrott,R. Contri,D. Teodoro,G. Tomasini,E. Calligarich,S. Ratti,J. Huc,G. De Rosny,R. Sosnowski,M. Barrier,G. Bozoki,A. Brandao,H. Nguyen +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the two coherent reactions π+d → dπ+d +π+π +π− and π−d → θ0π +d with a cross-sectionσ==(20±5) µb and a signal for the B+-meson of about 12 µb were studied in the 2 m DBC at the incoming momentum of 117 GeV/c.

Experimental Trends in the Study of the Antiproton-Nucleon Interaction
TL;DR: The basic theoretical concepts and experimental techniques are illustrated by selecting three recent experiments at LEAR and by describing their motivations and some of their results as mentioned in this paper, and a comprehensive overview about antiproton physics, also covering experiments at laboratories like KEK, BNL, or Fermilab, was beyond the scope of these lectures, so they did not attempt a systematical comparison of all the recent results in experiment and theory.

The reaction π−p → pπ+π−π−π° at 20 GeV/c
L. K. Sisterson,W.C. Harrison,D. Heyda,W.H. Johnson,J.K. Kim,M. E. Law,J.E. Mueller,Brian M. Salzberg +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the cross sections for the production of ϱ, ν° and ω° mesons, and Δ (1236) isobars are estimated.

Two kinds of bosons and bose condensates.
Walter Kohn,David Sherrington +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was pointed out that in such systems there can occur two kinds of bosons with quite different physical and mathematical characteristics, i.e., type I bosons are bound complexes of an even number of fermions and their holes, and type II excitations are elementary excitations which are bounded complexes of fermanions and excitons.

Evidence for three new charged bosons of masses 1929, 2195 and 2382 MeV and narrow widths
G. Chikovani,L. Dubal,M.N. Focacci,W. Kienzle,B. Levrat,B.C. Maglic,M. Martin,C. Nef,P. Schübelin,J. Seguinot +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, three new bosons, referred to as S, T and U, have been observed in the reaction π + p → p + X - using the missing-mass spectrometer; their masses are 1929, 2195 and 2382 MeV, respectively.
