A Study On Tensile Strength Of Ultra High Strength Concrete

Abdul Ghaffar
TL;DR: In this article, a new direct tensile strength measurement method was devised and concrete strength was measured using this new technique, instead of relying upon conventional in-direct methods, a new easy to perform direct tension method is devised and tensile strengths is measured using the new technique.

Comparison between bilinear and power low softening curve of concrete using inverse analysis

TL;DR: In this paper, two inverse analysis proce dures were applied using the analytical non linear hinge model for beams loaded in bending based on the fictitious crack model and supposing bilinear and power law softening curves.

Numerical Analysis for Parameters of Concrete Tensile Strain Softening Curve Based on Typical Tensile Strength Tests

TL;DR: In this article, a new method to determine the characteristic parameters of concrete tensile strength is presented from a series of FEM analysis, where only two tensile strengths are required in this method, and no test including the softening behavior is needed.
