Finite element analysis of acoustic streaming in a Kundt tube with bended wall

TL;DR: In this paper, optical observation showed that numerous microsystis cells aggregated due to the acoustic radiation force of standing wave formed in the polymer cell and the spatial interval between the aggregates was 500 m~1 mm, which approximately corresponded to the wavelength of 2.8-MHz ultrasound.

Three-dimensional sound field reproduction based on multi-resolution sparse representation

TL;DR: Simulation results show that the proposed method can improve the 3D reproduction performance with a few active loudspeakers and enlarge the size of the spatial sweet spot.

Modelling vibro–acoustic response of lightweight square aluminium panel influenced by sound source locations for active control

TL;DR: In this paper , the structural-acoustic response of a lightweight square aluminium panel is analyzed using finite element method and first-order deformation theory, and the results show that different locations of the primary sound source significantly influence the response of the structural panel to reduce noise.

Acousto-optic effect compensation for optical determination of the normal velocity distribution associated with acoustic transducer radiation

TL;DR: A general method of compensation is developed for a pulsed harmonic pressure field transmitted by an acoustic transducer, in which the laser beam can transit the Transducer nearfield, and can enable quantification of edge-wave and baffle effects on transducers radiation.

Method and device for processing a digital audio signal for binaural reproduction

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for processing a digital audio signal, which is presented as a 3D sound field description in HOA format of the order N, into a binaural reproduction format containing: filtering of the rotated 3D SDF description with rendering filters (21 L, 21 R) according to head-related impulse responses (HRIR) for a left channel and a right channel, a summation (25L, 25R) of the output signals from the rendering filters into intermediate signals (ZLi, ZR) for the left and right channels, and
