Lamb: a simulation tool for air-coupled lamb wave based ultrasonic NDE systems

Prego Borges, +1 more
TL;DR: The LAMB Matlab toolbox as discussed by the authors is a toolbox based on Matlab that is capable of simularizing the comportamiento of sistemas of Ensayos No Destructivos (END) basados in ondas of Lamb acopladas por aire in laminas isotropas simples using transductores tipo array.

Method for spatial filtering of at least one sound signal, computer readable storage medium and spatial filtering system based on cross-pattern coherence

TL;DR: In this article, a method for spatial filtering of at least one sound signal (M 0, W n) includes the steps of: generation of a first, a second and a third captured sound signal by capturing of the respective sound signals by microphones characterized by directivity patterns of different orders; performing a short-time Fourier transformation of the captured, sound signal s; measuring a cross-pattern correlation or a crosspattern coherence towards a desired direction ([phi]); calculation of a gain factor (G+) using a cross pattern correlation based on time-averaged correlation or coherence

High-resolution continuous scan acoustical holography applied to high-speed jet noise

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present model-scale experimental evidence that advanced signal processing techniques can enable the generation of high resolution acoustical holograms of the hydrodynamic and acoustic near-fields of high-speed jets with a reasonable number of microphones.

An experimental comparison of various methods of nearfield acoustic holography

TL;DR: An experimental comparison of four different methods of nearfield acoustic holography (NAH) for planar acoustic sources is presented in this article, where two dimensional measurements were obtained at distances ranging from one-half to sixteen microphone spacings away from a sound source and the NAH methods were used to reconstruct the sound field at the source surface.
