Thermodynamic assessment of the phase diagrams of the Cu-Sb and Sb-Zn systems

TL;DR: In this paper, the Gibbs energies of the liquid, bcc, and fcc phases are described by a substitution solution model and a Redlich-Kister formalism, and a consistent set of the thermodynamic parameters was optimized to obtain a better fit between calculated results and experimental data including phase diagram and thermodynamic quantities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enthalpies of formation of binary Laves phases

TL;DR: In this article, the enthalpies of binary transition-metal lanthanide Laves phases including ReCo 2, ReNi 2, ReFe 2 and ReRu 2 have been reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interfaces in lead-free solder alloys : Enthalpy of formation of binary Ag-Sn, Cu-Sn and Ni-Sn intermetallic compounds

TL;DR: In this paper, the standard enthalpies of formation were determined for a number of binary intermetallic compounds in the systems Ag, Cu, and Ni by means of solution calorimetry in liquid Sn in a Calvet-type microcalorimeter.
