Autodiffusion le long des sous-joints dans la phase ‘plastique’ de l'acide pivalique (2,2-dimethyl propanoique acide)

TL;DR: In this article, the sub-grain-boundary self-diffusion coefficient has been measured in the orientationally disordered (plastic) phase of pivalic acid, where high purity (99·9999%) polycrystals were used.
Journal ArticleDOI

Grain Boundary Diffusion in Metallic Nano and Polycrystals

TL;DR: In this paper, an outline is given of the recent theoretical and experimentalknowledge of grain boundary diffusion in metals and a summarizing description of some important recent experimental results is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of intermetallic compounds in reaction between Cu–Ni alloys and solid Sn – a new look at the prominent effect of Ni

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the phase composition of the diffusion zone of pure Cu with small additive Ni in the Cu-substrate (up to 1.5% at.05-0.25%) at 488 K and found that the reaction layer growth follows a parabolic kinetics.
Journal ArticleDOI

High Temperature Oxidation Study of Nano-Y 2 O 3 Dispersed Ferritic Alloys Synthesized by Mechanical Alloying and Sintering

TL;DR: In this paper, the mechanism and kinetics of isothermal oxidation of four Fe-Cr-Al-Ti ferritic alloys in the range 700°C to 900°C for up to 50 hours in air were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Materietransport in Festkörpern

TL;DR: In this article, the phanomenologische Beschreibung des Diffusionsvorganges and the Diskussion des Transport-mechanismus in Festkorpern is discussed.
