Non-enzymatic electrochemical detection of glucose with a disposable paper-based sensor using a cobalt phthalocyanine-ionic liquid-graphene composite.

TL;DR: The disposable, efficient, sensitive and low-cost non-enzymatic PAD has great potential for the development of point-of-care testing (POCT) devices that can be applied in healthcare monitoring.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nutritional management of lactose intolerance: the importance of diet and food labelling.

TL;DR: This narrative review aims to identify the dietary management for lactose intolerant people, avoiding symptoms and nutrients deficiencies, helped by the use of specific labelling to guide them to choose the safer product on the market.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantification of Neoagaro-Oligosaccharide Production through Enzymatic Hydrolysis and Its Anti-Oxidant Activities

TL;DR: The adapted PACE method that has been presented here is promising for large sample analysis during quality control and for characterizing novel β-agarase degradation mechanisms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrasensitive non-enzymatic electrochemical sensing of glucose in noninvasive samples using interconnected nanosheets-like NiMnO3 as a promising electrocatalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a simple hydrothermal method for the preparation of ilmenite-type of NiMnO3 (NMO) nanostructure, which helps to promote the diffusion of ions into the electrode surface, thus can get improved electrocatalysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

A supersensitive biosensor based on MoS2 nanosheet arrays for the real-time detection of H2O2 secreted from living cells.

TL;DR: Under the optimal test conditions, such MoS2 electrodes exhibit extremely promising electrocatalytic performance with a low detection limit and an excellent sensitivity, and the detection of the trace amount of H2O2 secreted from live A549 cancer cells was successfully performed with this biosensor.

Testing for serial correlation in least squares regression. II.

TL;DR: The problem of testing the errors for independence forms the subject of this paper and its successor and deals mainly with the theory on which the test is based, while the second paper describes the test procedures in detail and gives tables of bounds to the significance points of the test criterion adopted.

Review article: lactose intolerance in clinical practice--myths and realities.

TL;DR: A large number of people in the world have hypolactasia, but not everyone has lactose intolerance, as several nutritional and genetic factors influence tolerance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Key aspects of analytical method validation and linearity evaluation.

TL;DR: The definitions of various relevant performance indicators such as selectivity, specificity, accuracy, precision, linearity, range, limit of detection, limit of quantitation, ruggedness, and robustness are critically discussed with a view to prevent their erroneous usage and ensure scientific correctness and consistency among publications.
