Location of the triplet excimer level in pyrene

TLDR
In this article, triple energy transfer to a guest in a pyrene host matrix is used to locate the triplet excimer level in solid pyrene and the location is found to be between 15 800 cm −1 and 16 500 cm − 1.

Triplet exciton lifetime in crystalline pyrene

TL;DR: The triplet exciton lifetime in crystalline pyrene was found to be 140 ± 10 msec at room temperature, over 500 times longer than previously reported values as discussed by the authors, and it was concluded that the transfer of triplet energy within the crystal may be described using the monomer exciton model.

TL;DR: In this paper, femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy (fs-TAS) was used to study the mechanism of energy transfer between the organic and inorganic layers in a series of three lead-based mixed-halide perovskites.

Triplet excimer emission from pyrene single crystals

TL;DR: In this article, two new delayed emissions were found from pyrene single crystals in the temperature region 77°-300°K, which were attributed to the emission of two types of triplet excimer.

Energy transfer in crystalline layers of pyrene

TL;DR: The excimer state migrates in pyrene if the temperature is so high that the energy barriers may be overcome as discussed by the authors, where the S 1 guest level lies below the excimer level of pyrene.

Temperature dependence of the lifetime of pyrene triplet excimer emission

TL;DR: In this paper, the stabilisation enthalpies of two different kinds of triplet excimers of pyrene were calculated from the temperature dependence of the triplet lifetime.
