TLDR
In this paper, double differential cross sections for deuteron electrodisintegration near threshold from back-scattered electrons were calculated for electron four-momentum transfer squares in the range 0 Δ2 ⩽ 15 fm−2 and for final n-p relative energies in range 0 ⌈ Erel ⌽ 15 MeV using the Reid hard-core parametrization of the n p potential.

Elastic magnetic electron scattering from nuclei

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a detailed treatment of the formalism needed in discussions of elastic electron scattering, including an introduction to the density-matrix approach to the nuclear many-body problem, with simple examples to clarify the ideas involved.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isobar configurations in nuclei

TL;DR: A comprehensive review of the role of nucleon resonances in nuclear structure is given with emphasis on the two-, three-, and four-nucleon systems and nuclear matter in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mesonic processes in deep-inelastic electron scattering from nuclei

TL;DR: Inelastic electron scattering is considered in the energy and momentum transfer region associated with the quasielastic and 3-3 resonance pion electroproduction peaks in this paper, and the MEC contribution is found to be significant in this region, and helps to account for the discrepancy between theory and experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrodisintegration of deuterium including nucleon detection in coincidence

TL;DR: In this paper, a consistent nonrelativistic treatment of deuteron electrodisintegration including effects from meson exchange currents and isobar configurations is presented and the T-matrix is calculated by a multipole expansion up to L = 6 for inclusion of the final state interaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exchange currents in electron scattering from light nuclei

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of meson exchange currents on elastic and inelastic electron scattering from nuclei are considered with specific applications to 3 He, 6 Li, 7 Li, 9 Be and 10 B.

Theoretical Nuclear Physics

TL;DR: A semi-empirical basis is used to describe and correlate the known nuclear properties including the theoretical concepts, methods, and considerations which have been devised in order to interpret the experimentsl material and to advance the ability to predict and control nuclear phenomena.

Local phenomenological nucleon-nucleon potentials

TL;DR: Hard (infinitely hard) and soft (Yukawa) core potentials have been fit to Yale and Livermore phase parameters and low-energy data as discussed by the authors, and it is found that neither the short-range behavior of the potentials nor the central-to-tensor ratio in the 3 S 1 - 3 D 1 state is well determined by the data.
Journal ArticleDOI

A potential model representation of two-nucleon data below 315 MeV

TL;DR: In this article, an energy independent nucleon-nucleon potential model was proposed to represent the n-p data in a satisfactory manner for the first time, and the phase shifts predicted by the model were in fair agreement with the solutions YLAM ( T = 1) and YLAN3M (T = 0) recently found by the Yale group.
