TLDR
In this paper, the specular absorber method is used in determining the reflection loss (R L ) of the absorber at different thicknesses, which would provide a feasible means of determining the frequency and thickness configuration for minimum reflection from the surface of an absorber.

Hydrogenated TiO(2) nanocrystals: a novel microwave absorbing material.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the first time that hydrogenated TiO2 nanocrystals can be used as microwave absorbing material, based on an innovative collective-movement-of-interfacial-dipole mechanism which causes collective-interference-polarization-amplified microwave absorption at the crystalline/disordered and anatase/rutile interfaces.
