Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and crystal structure of [PPh4]2[MoS4(CuBr)4]·Me2CO; the assembly of four copper(I) centres about a tetrathiomolybdate(VI) moiety

TL;DR: This paper showed that four edges of the tetrahedral MoS4core are bridged by cuI atoms giving an aggregate of approximate D2d symmetry with µ2-Br bridges linking these aggregates to form a one-dimensional polymeric anion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and proton magnetic resonance properties of Fe3Ms4(M = Mo or W) cubane-like cluster dimers

TL;DR: In this paper, a clear distinction between bridging and terminal ligands is observed and, within each set of bridging, only one resonance is observed for each chemically different proton.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel cubane-type Mo4S4 cluster

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method for affinement in the context of ENE, a methylenediaminetetraacetate (EDE) and cristallise dans P2 1 /c avec Z=4.
Journal ArticleDOI

The chemistry of the hydrazido(1–)-ligand. Preparations and crystal structures of [Mo(NHNHCO2Me)(NNCO2Me)(S2CNMe2)2], [Mo(NHNMePh)(NNMePh)(S2CNMe2)2]BPh4, and [ReCl2(NHNHCOPh)(NNHCOPh)(PPh3)2]. Mechanism of formation of substituted hydrazines from [Mo(NNRPh)2(S2CNMe2)2](R = Me or Ph)

TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation of three complexes containing a hydrazido(1)-ligand is described, together with a kinetic study of the intermediacy of such a species in the hydrazine-forming reaction of acid with [Mo(NNRPh)2(S2CNR′2)2]-R = R′= Me; R = Ph, R = Et.
