Ferrimagnetic Ni 2+ doped Mg-Zn spinel ferrite nanoparticles for high density information storage

TL;DR: In this paper, the optical band gap of the prepared samples has been calculated using Tauc plots and have been found to increase with increase in Ni2+content from 4.50 eV (x = 0.50 ) to 5.60 eV(x= 0.60 ) for all samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement in magnetic behaviour of cobalt doped magnesium zinc nano-ferrites via co-precipitation route

TL;DR: In this article, an improvement of magnetic properties in Co 2 + substituted Mg Zn nano-ferrites synthesized by co-precipitation route was reported, where a phase transition from superparamagnetic to ferrimagnetic behavior for x ǫ> 0.125 has been observed.

Structural, spectral, dielectric and magnetic properties of Tb–Dy doped Li-Ni nano-ferrites synthesized via micro-emulsion route

TL;DR: In this paper, Li-Ni nano-sized ferrites (Li 0.2 Ni 0.8 Tb 0.5 x Dy 0.4 x Fe 2−x O 4 where x = 0.00−0.08) were prepared by micro-emulsion technique and X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns confirmed the single phase cubic spinel structure.

On the Dispersion of Resistivity and Dielectric Constant of Some Semiconductors at Audiofrequencies

C. G. Koops
- 01 Jul 1951 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the ac resistivity and the apparent dielectric constant of the material show a dispersion which can be explained satisfactorily with the help of a simple model of the solid: there should be wellconducting grains separated by layers of lower conductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

An overview of the structure and magnetism of spinel ferrite nanoparticles and their synthesis in microemulsions

TL;DR: A short review on the various spinel ferrites in microemulsions in the recent years is given in this paper, where the focus then shifts to the use of micro-mulsions as nanoreactors for the synthesis of spinels.

Finite size effects on the structural and magnetic properties of sol–gel synthesized NiFe2O4 powders

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of grain size on NiFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles has been studied in detail using X-ray diffraction (XRD) data and the strain graph and it was found that the specific magnetization of the nanosized NiFe O 4 powders was lower than that of the corresponding coarse-grained counterparts and decreased with a decrease in grain size.
