Numerical model evaluation of tidal stream energy resources in the Ría de Muros (NW Spain)

TLDR
In this paper, a finite difference numerical model is used for the estimation of the Ria de Muros tidal flow velocities and the corresponding power densities, which is validated with in situ velocity measurements performed by means of an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP).

The economics of wave energy: A review

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review all the factors that must be considered in an economic analysis of wave energy, including a number of elements that are usually overlooked, and characterise the direct and indirect costs of a wave farm, as well as its prospective incomes.

Spectroscopy of the world ocean tides from a finite element hydrodynamic model

TL;DR: An atlas of the main components of the tides has been produced on the basis of a finite element hydrodynamic model, with the aim of offering the scientific community, using satellite altimetric data, a prediction of the tidal contribution to sea surface height variations under the ground tracks of the satellites as mentioned in this paper.
