Crystal chemical aspects of the layered perovskite-like oxide ferroelectrics of the AnMnO3n 2 type

V. A. Isupov
- 01 Jan 1999 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal chemical aspects of ferroelectrics AnMnO3n+2 with layered perovskite-like structure (the idealized and real structures, nature of phase transitions, the Curie temperatures, peculiar properties of Sr2Ta2O7, stability of the layered structure, formation of solid solutions) are discussed.

Efficient thermoelectricity in Sr 2 Nb 2 O 7 with energy-dependent relaxation times

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluate theoretically the thermoelectric efficiency of the layered perovskite via calculations of the electronic structure and transport coefficients within density-functional theory and Bloch-Boltzmann relaxation-time transport theory.

Crystallographic and Dielectric Properties of Ferroelectric A2B2O7 (A=Sr, B=Ta, Nb) Crystals and Their Solid Solutions

TL;DR: The phase transition temperatures of other solid solutions, partially replacing Sr by Ca, Pb or Ba, are also studied on ceramic samples as mentioned in this paper, where the Curie-Weiss temperature θ 0 and Curie constant C P are: θ0 =161 K(=-112°C) and C P =0.84×10 5 K.

Phase Transition in Sr 2 Nb 2 O 7 at 215°C

TL;DR: In this article, a new phase transition in Sr 2 Nb 2 O 7 was found at 215°C, in addition to the already known phase transitions, and the elastic compliance coefficients, the electromechanical coupling factor and the dielectric constant of an Sr 2 nb 2 o 7 single crystal show anomaly around 215°c.

Raman scattering studies on phase transition in barium sodium niobate at high pressure

TL;DR: In this article, the phase transition in barium sodium niobate at high pressure was investigated by Raman scattering experiments, and a remarkable pressure dependence of the frequencies of the bending modes of NbO6 octahedrons was observed.
