TLDR
In this article, the most general expression for the half-wave voltage of a LiNbO 3 transverse light modulator has been studied and a novel cut with a minimum half wave voltage of 1440 V for amplitude modulation is proposed.
Abstract
The most general expression for the half-wave voltage of a LiNbO 3 transverse light modulator has been studied. As a result, a novel cut with a minimum half-wave voltage of 1440 V for amplitude modulation is proposed. A preliminary experimental verification confirms the promising theoretical results.

Optimum design of a novel electro-optically tunable birefringent interleaver filter

TL;DR: In this article, an electro-optically tunable interleaver filter based on an analogue birefringent structure is optimally designed, which can achieve small channel spacing (≤ 50 GHz), a wide pass-band and stop-band (>1/5 period), high isolation (−30 dB) and electrooptical tunability simultaneously.

High performance electro-optically tunable birefringent interleaver filters

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an electro-optically tunable birefringent interleaver filter, which can achieve small channel spacing (≤50GHz), wide passband and stopband width (>1/5 period) and high isolation (<-30dB).

TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE AND MODEL OF THE ELECTRO‐OPTIC EFFECT IN LiNbO3

TL;DR: In this paper, the temperature dependence and absolute sign of the electrooptic coefficients in single-crystal LiNbO3 were measured in the temperature range of 20°−250°C using a vibrating-mirror Michelson interferometer.

The Electro-Optic Effect in Uniaxial Crystals of the Type X H 2 PO 4 . I. Theoretical

TL;DR: In this article, the behavior of Z-cut and X-cut plates with voltage in the Z direction was studied and shown to be biaxial with the plane of the optic axes at 45° to the X and Y crystallographic axis, and the retardation along the normal to the plate is directly proportional to the voltage and independent of the thickness.

Dielectric materials for electrooptic, elastooptic, and ultrasonic device applications

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe some dielectric materials for low-loss optical transmission whose properties can be modified by an electric or magnetic field or applied external stress, and whose properties, at the same time, will interact in some specified manner with the optical beam.
