TL;DR: It is concluded that the compounds isolated from delipidated human erythrocyte membranes after digestion with pronase are glycopeptides and not glycolipids, and the amounts of mannose and amino acids found are compatible with an N-glycosidic poly(glycosyl)peptide structure.
