TLDR
In this paper, a policy of periodic replacement with minimal repair at failure is considered for the multi-unit system which have the specific multivariate distribution, where an operating system is completely replaced whenever it reaches age T (T > 0) at a cost c 0 while minimal repair is performed at any intervening component failures.

Optimal periodic replacement policy for repairable products under free-repair warranty

TL;DR: It is shown that the optimal replacement period for a warranted product should be adjusted toward the end of the warranty period, and cost models developed for both a warranted and a non-warranted product are compared.

Preventive-maintenance policy for leased products under various maintenance costs

TL;DR: The objective of this paper is to derive the optimal preventive-maintenance schedule and maintenance degrees such that the expected total cost is minimized.

Optimal threshold value of failure-rate for leased products with preventive maintenance actions

TL;DR: This paper investigates the optimal threshold value of failure rates for leased products with a Weibull lifetime distribution and the structural properties of the optimal policy are investigated and an efficient algorithm is provided to search for the optimal Policy.

Joint determination of lease period and preventive maintenance policy for leased equipment with residual value

TL;DR: The optimal maintenance policy and the length of the lease period are obtained such that the expected total profit is maximized and the imperfect preventive maintenance actions are carried out when the age of the equipment reaches a controlled-limit during the leaseperiod.

Periodical Preventive-Maintenance Contract for a Leased Facility with Weibull Life-Time

TL;DR: A mathematical model is developed to derive the optimal periodical preventive maintenance policy for a leased facility with Weibull life-time such that the expected total maintenance cost is minimized.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present some meaningful derivations of a multivariate exponential distribution that serve to indicate conditions under which the distribution is appropriate, such as the residual life is independent of age.

Optimum Preventive Maintenance Policies

TL;DR: In this paper, two types of preventive maintenance policies are considered, and the optimum policies are determined, in each case, as unique solutions of certain integral equations depending on the failure distribution.

Age Dependent Minimal Repair.

TL;DR: In this article, the NBUE aging property is shown to be inherited by the distribution of the time between successive complete repairs under suitable monotonicity of the function p. This is equivalent to assuming that maintenance is executed in negligible time.
