Magnetic-susceptibility and electrical-properties of vse2 single-crystals
Cf Vanbruggen,C. Haas +1 more
TL;DR: Magnetic susceptibility, in-plane resistivity and Hall effect data of VSe2 single-crystal plates are reported in this paper, which exhibit anomalies at ∼ 100 K. The occurrence of these anomalies is presumably due to Fermi surface changes resulting from the onset of a charge density wave instability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Signatures of the Kondo effect in VSe 2
TL;DR: In this paper, a low-temperature upturn in the resistivity and, at temperatures below this resistivity minimum, an unusual magnetoresistance which is negative at low fields and positive at higher fields in single crystals of VSe2 is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Channel structures based on octahedral frameworks: The crystal structure of TlTi5Se8, TlV5Se8, and TlCr5Se8 and its relationships to TlCr3S5, hollandites, and psilomelane
TL;DR: A unified scheme for the TlV5S8, TlCr3S5, hollandite, and psilomelane structures on the basis of ideal close packing was developed in this article.

Chapter 3 Compounds of transition elements with nonmetals
O. Beckman,L. Lundgren +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the compounds of transition elements with nonmetals and discuss the ferromagnetism of transition metal intermetallic compounds with non-metallic and semimetallic elements.

Signatures of the Kondo effect in VSe2
TL;DR: A low-temperature upturn in the resistivity and an unusual magnetoresistance which is negative at low fields and positive at higher fields, in single crystals of VSe2 are reported, interpreted as signatures of the Kondo effect.
