Two-qubit logical operations in three quantum dots system

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered a model of two interacting always-on, exchange-only qubits for which controlled phase (CPHASE), controlled NOT (CNOT), quantum Fourier transform (QFT), and SWAP operations can be implemented only in a few electrical pulses in a nanosecond time scale.

Improving performance of an analog electronic device using quantum error correction

TL;DR: Experimental results for the application of quantum error correction (QEC) techniques to a prototype analog computational device called a quantum emulation device show a marked improvement in the performance characteristics of the gate operations following error correction using the 5-Qubit Perfect code.

Universal Asymmetric Quantum Cloning Revisited

TL;DR: In this article, the authors revisited the universal asymmetric quantum cloning problem and identified the symmetry properties of this optimisation problem, giving them access to the optimal quantum cloning map, and used the bipolar theorem to completely characterise the set of achievable single quantum clone qualities using the fidelity as our figure of merit.

Continuous quantum error detection and suppression with pairwise local interactions

TL;DR: This work provides an alternative method to passively detect the value of a high-weight operator using only two-local interactions and single-qubit continuous measurements, and applies this indirect detection scheme to the four-qu bit Bacon-Shor code, where the two stabilizers are indirectly monitored using four ancillary qubits.

Noise tailoring for quantum circuits via unitary 2t-design.

TL;DR: This work proposes a method whereby the twirled noise over a unitary 2t-design (a set of unitary matrices that approximate the entire unitary group) for quantum circuits can be tailored into stochastic noise, which is an important guarantee for achieving fault-tolerant quantum computation.
