This work defines and study three classes of generalized order concave functions from chains to chains whose properties are very close to those of the family of quasiconcave functions on R.
Abstract
We introduce order-theoretic generalized concavity. This is the study of those properties of generalized concave functions which require only that some order relations are defined on the domain and the image of the functions. In this work we define and study three classes of generalized order concave functions from chains to chains whose properties are very close to those of the family of quasiconcave functions on R. Purely order-theoretic characterization theorems are provided

A sixth bibliography of fractional programming

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a list of 491 papers dealing with fractional programming and its applications, covering mainly the period 1997-2005 but also including some references published up to 1997 which were not included in the previous bibliographies or which were mentioned as ‘to appear’ in the five previous bibliography.

Variational stability of social nash equilibria

TL;DR: New results on the variational stability of social Nash equilibria are obtained using the class of sequentially pseudocontinuous functions, which finds a natural motivation in the framework of Choice and Economic Theory since it characterizes the continuity of the preference relations on first countable topological spaces.

Submodular functions and convexity

TL;DR: In continuous optimization, convex functions play a central role as mentioned in this paper, and various methods for finding the minimum of a convex function constitute the main body of nonlinear optimization, which can be viewed as the optimization of very special (linear) objective functions over very special convex domains (polyhedra).
