Transition metals in phosphinine chemistry

TL;DR: The implication of transition metals in phosphinine chemistry is reviewed in this article, where three different topics are examined: syntheses in which phosphinines are formed using a metal-mediated approach, transformations of preformed syntheses induced by metals, and the role of transition metal in coordination chemistry.

A niobaziridine hydride system for white phosphorus or dinitrogen activation and N- or P-atom transfer

TL;DR: In a fashion analogous to the aforementioned phosphaalkyne synthesis, acid chlorides are transformed upon reaction with the niobium nitride anion into corresponding nitrogen-15 labeled organic nitriles, as the oxoniobium(v) byproduct can be recycled in high yield to the title niobaziridine hydride complex.
