TLDR
In this paper, the dynamic and steady state behavior of metallocene linear low density polyethylene (m-LLDPE) blended with high-density polyethylen and with low-dense polyethylenes (LDPE), was measured in parallel plate rheometer at 160, 180, and 200 degrees C. The results were consistent with the rheological properties of these two series of blends.

Evaluation and simulation of silver and copper nanoparticle migration from polyethylene nanocomposites to food and an associated exposure assessment.

TL;DR: The potential migration of nanoparticles from PE composite packaging to a food material and the potential for simulation models to accurately capture this migration potential are highlighted; however, variable background levels of copper in the food matrix can make prediction more difficult for trace migration of nanocopper.

Rheological behavior of blends from a linear and a long-chain branched polypropylene

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated how the rheological behavior of a linear polypropylene is changed by blending with different amounts of a long-chain branched polypolypropylene.

Effect of composition and comonomer type on the rheology, morphology and properties of ethylene-α-olefin copolymer/polypropylene blends

TL;DR: In this paper, the rheology, morphology, thermal and mechanical properties of blends containing low molecular weight polypropylene (PP) and metallocene-based ethylene-α-olefin copolymers (ECs) have been investigated.

Rheological and thermal properties of blends of a long-chain branched polypropylene and different linear polypropylenes

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of adding LCB-PP on the crystallinity, crystallization temperature, melting point, and rate of crystallization were studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and positive deviations from the Fox equation for the glass transition temperature, T g, were observed for the blends.

Quantitative analysis of melt elongational behavior of LLDPE/LDPE blends

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the shear and elongational data of linear (LLDPE) and branched (LDPE)-polyethylene polyethylene blends and showed that the strain hardening behavior of LLDPE/LDPEs is completely determined by the LDPE component.

Stereospecific Olefin Polymerization with Chiral Metallocene Catalysts

TL;DR: In contrast to heterogeneous Ziegler-Natta catalysts, homogeneous metallocene-based catalysts as discussed by the authors allow efficient control of regio-and stereoregularities, molecular weights and molecular weight distributions, and comonomer incorporation.

Effect of Molecular Structure on the Linear Viscoelastic Behavior of Polyethylene

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of weight-average molecular weight (MW) and short and long chain branching on the linear viscoelastic behavior of polyethylene (and ethylene−α-olefin copolymers) are described.
