Self-Consistent Nonlinear Simulation of a Severed Slotted Gyro-TWT

TLDR
In this article, the behavior of a two-stage slotted Gyro-TWT amplifier is evaluated with a self-consistent nonlinear slow-timescale simulation code, where the effects of the sever position and the lengths of the first section, sever, and the second section on beam-wave interaction are discussed.
Abstract
The behavior of a two-stage slotted Gyro-TWT amplifier is evaluated with a self-consistent nonlinear slow-timescale simulation code. The effects of the sever position and the lengths of the first section, sever, and the second section on beam-wave interaction are discussed in this paper. And the influences of the magnetic field and the electron beam's velocity spread on efficiency, gain and bandwidth are also simulated and discussed in detail. The electron beam we employ encircles around the axis of the wave guide.

Gain broadening of two-stage tapered gyrotron traveling wave tube amplifier.

TL;DR: The first operation of a two-stage tapered gyrotron traveling wave amplifier employing two tapered waveguide circuits and tapered magnetic fields was reported in this paper, where small-signal gain of 30 dB and saturated gain of 25 dB over a 20% bandwidth at an efficiency of 16% was observed using a 33 kV, 1.5 A electron beam.

Analysis and calculation of an electron cyclotron maser having inner and outer slotted structure

TL;DR: In this article, the field distribution of the TE mode and the dispersion relationships of the inner and outer slotted structures of the structures are given, and the interaction efficiency between electrons and the RF field in these structures is calculated numerically.
