The Entropy Maximum in Scale-Invariant Processes with 1/f α Power Spectrum: the Effect of White Noise Anisotropy

TL;DR: In this article, random 1/f-α processes are formed under the action of anisotropic white noise with α-dependence of the power spectra on frequency and exponent α ranging from 0.7 to 1.7.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biosignatures of health.

TL;DR: A brief review explores a few main ideas, which appear to be coming together to provide biosignatures of health.
Journal ArticleDOI

Higher order and boundary scaling fields in the Abelian sandpile model

TL;DR: In this article, the first corrections to conformal fields corresponding to some height clusters have been suggested, in a field theoretical approach, when the lattice parameter is non-vanishing, and consider them in the presence of a boundary.
Journal ArticleDOI

New index based on the physical separation of motion into three categories for characterizing the effect of cocaine in mice

TL;DR: An index for characterizing the behavior of cocaine-administered mice, based on a heuristic argument regarding the ratio of the coefficients of the drag term obtained by the biphasic motion-equation model, had a significant dose-related effect in each strain and a significant strain effect in high-concentration drug.
Journal ArticleDOI

Finite size scaling in BTW like sandpile models

TL;DR: In this article, a rotational sandpile model with broken mirror symmetry is proposed and the scaling functions of RSM1 and RSM2 are shown to obey the usual FSS hypothesis at out of equilibrium instead of multiscaling as in BTW.
