TLDR
In this article, the solubilities of dilute mixtures of the chlorofluorocarbons CCl3F (CFC-11) and CCl2F2 (cFC-12) in pure water and seawater over the temperature range 0 to 40°C have been measured by gas chromatography.Abstract:
The solubilities of dilute mixtures of the chlorofluorocarbons CCl3F (CFC-11) and CCl2F2 (CFC-12) in pure water and seawater over the temperature range 0 to 40°C have been measured by gas chromatography. The data have been fitted to equations in temperature and salinity of the form used previously to fit the solubilities of other gases. The fitted values have an estimated accuracy of ∼1.5% and a relative precision of ∼0.7% for both chlorofluorocarbons. The nonideal behavior of these compounds in dilute air mixtures is discussed, and their solubilities from a water-saturated atmosphere are presented in parametric form.read more

Relationship between wind speed and gas exchange over the ocean
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of variability in wind speed on the calculated gas transfer velocities and the possibility of chemical enhancement of CO2 exchange at low wind speeds over the ocean is illustrated using a quadratic dependence of gas exchange on wind speed.

Compilation of Henry's law constants (version 4.0) for water as solvent
TL;DR: According to Henry's law, the equilibrium ratio between the abundances in the gas phase and in the aqueous phase is constant for a dilute solution as discussed by the authors, and a compilation of 17 350 values of Henry's Law constants for 4632 species, collected from 689 references is available at http://wwwhenrys-law.org

TL;DR: The Global Ocean Data Analysis Project (GLODAP) as mentioned in this paper uses ocean sampling data from the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE), the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS), and the Ocean Atmosphere Carbon Exchange Study (OACES) to produce objectively gridded property maps at a 1° resolution on 33 depth surfaces chosen to match existing climatologies for temperature, salinity, oxygen, and nutrients.

Circulation, mixing, and production of Antarctic Bottom Water
TL;DR: In this article, the authors make use of the available high-quality station data in the Southern Ocean to construct bottom maps of neutral density and mean property maps, including Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), for the abyssal layer underneath a selected neutral density surface.

Relationship between wind speed and gas exchange over the ocean revisited
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide an update on the frequently used method of Wanninkhof (1992) for estimating bulk fluxes of atmospheric gases across the air-sea interface, using revised global ocean 14C inventories and improved wind speed products.
