TLDR
In this article, a new spectrophotometric method for the determination of palladium was described using 2-mercaptobenzoxazole as reagent, which has a sensitivity of 0.08 μg of Pd per cm 2 for log I 0 /I = 0.001 and obeys Beer's law from 2 to 40 p.p.m.

Colourimetric and fluorescent probes for the optical detection of palladium ions.

TL;DR: This review provides a brief introduction to the new methods used to determine trace amounts of Pd(2+), which mainly focuses on the different reporting systems and unique mechanisms of the colourimetric and fluorescent probes used to detect Pd (2+) complex formation or Pd-catalysed reactions.

a critical evaluation of colorimetric methods for determination of the noble metals—III: Palladium and platinum

TL;DR: Spectrophotometric methods for palladium and platinum recorded subsequent to 1958 are critically reviewed in this article, along with a table which identifies reagents recorded before 1958 together with pertinent references, where the descriptions of each metal are included.

TL;DR: The tolerance limit for many metals have been determined and the method has been applied successfully to the determination of palladium in synthetic mixtures and in the standard palladium carbon powder (palladium catalyst).

Microdetermination of palladium based on formation of ternary complex of palladium with pyrogallol red and cetylpyridinium bromide

TL;DR: A new spectrophotometric method was employed for the determination of micro amounts of palladium(II) based on the ternary complex formation with pyrogallol red and cetylpyridinium bromide as discussed by the authors.

Thermal analysis of some analogous thiols and their palladium complexes.

B. C. Bera, +1 more
- 01 Nov 1966 -
TL;DR: Differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis have been conducted on several analogous heterocyclic thiols and their complexes with palladium in air, over the temperature range of 25-800 degrees, deducing a rough order of thermal stability of the ligands and the complexes.
