Stabilization and tracking for switching linear systems under unknown switching sequences
TLDR
It is shown that, even if a correct reconstruction of the plant mode from the measured data is not always possible, under certain conditions, exponential stability of the closed-loop can be guaranteed for any slow-on-the-average plant switching sequence.About:

Mode-identifying time estimation and switching-delay tolerant control for switched systems
Lixian Zhang,Weiming Xiang +1 more
TL;DR: An elementary time unit (ETU) method is proposed to study the problem of estimating the admissible delay in the identification of the active mode in the analysis and design of switched systems.

On stabilization of switching linear systems
TL;DR: This paper addresses the problem of controlling a continuous-time linear system that may switch among different modes taken from a finite set by proposing a minimum-distance mode estimator which orchestrates controller switching according to a dwell-time switching logic.

Mode-observability degree in discrete-time switching linear systems
TL;DR: The results combine elements from canonical correlation analysis and subspace projection methods and turn out to be of practical relevance whenever mode-identification is addressed in the presence of noisy-corrupted measurements.

Observability of Hybrid Dynamical Systems
TL;DR: A tutorial approach to hybrid systems observability in its various forms is provided to students in control and its application as well as to practitioners in the field to show how the hybrid characteristics of the system give rise to particular aspects and properties that do not simply generalize the ones that are well-known for traditional dynamical systems.

Robust and Optimal Control
TL;DR: This paper reviewed the history of the relationship between robust control and optimal control and H-infinity theory and concluded that robust control has become thoroughly mainstream, and robust control methods permeate robust control theory.

Diagnosis and Fault-Tolerant Control
TL;DR: In this paper, model-based analysis and design methods for fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control are presented, where the propagation of the fault through the process, test fault detectability and reveal redundancies that can be used to ensure fault tolerance.
