Study of half-sandwich platinum group metal complexes bearing dpt-NH2 ligand

TLDR
In this paper, a general approach for the preparation of η5 and η6-cyclichydrocarbon platinum group metal complexes is reported, and the molecular structures of 4 and 6 have been established by single crystal X-ray diffraction and some of the representative complexes have also been studied by UV-Vis spectroscopy.

Application of arene ruthenium(II) complexes with pyridine-2-carboxaldimine ligands in the transfer hydrogenation of ketones

TL;DR: The reaction of various pyridine-2-carboxaldimine ligands with the [(η6-arene)RuCl(C5H4N-2 CH N-Ar]PF6]2 dimer followed by a metathesis reaction with ammonium hexaflourophosphate, yielded the ruthenium(II) arene complex salts, which were suitable for a wide range of aliphatic, cyclic and aromatic ketones giving good turn over numbers.

Enantioselective transfer hydrogenation of ketone catalysed by artificial metalloenzymes derived from bovine β-lactoglobulin

TL;DR: Artificial metalloproteins resulting from the embedding of half-sandwich Ru(II)/Rh(III) fatty acid derivatives within β-lactoglobulin catalysed the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of trifluoroacetophenone with modest to good conversions and fair ee's.

Study of new mononuclear platinum group metal complexes containing η5 and η6 – Carbocyclic ligands and nitrogen based derivatives and formation of helices due to NH⋯Cl interactions

TL;DR: A quite general approach for the preparation of η 5 and η 6 -cyclichydrocarbon platinum group metal complexes is reported in this paper, where the dinuclear arene ruthenium complexes are obtained in the presence of two equivalents of the ligands 2-chloro-3-(pyrazolyl)quinoxaline (L 1 ) and di-(2-pyridyl)amine (L 2 ) to afford the corresponding mononuclear complexes.
