Low‐loss substrate for epitaxial growth of high‐temperature superconductor thin films

TL;DR: A perovskite-like single-crystal substrate material has been investigated that simultaneously permits epitaxial growth of 1 2 3 superconductor films and possesses desirable rf properties of low dielectric constant and loss tangent as mentioned in this paper.

Thermal conductivity of high- T c superconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of existing data on the thermal conductivity of high-T====== c¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ c¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ superconductors is presented, including pristine polycrystalline high-t====== c¯¯ ceramics, single crystal specimens, and materials structurally modified by substitution or by radiation damage.

Large‐area double‐side pulsed laser deposition of YBa2Cu3O7−x thin films on 3‐in. sapphire wafers

TL;DR: In this paper, a pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique for YBa2Cu3O7−x (YBCO) thin films with CeO2 buffer layers and gold contact films on both sides of 3.in. diameter sapphire wafers, which are applied for microwave strip-line filters, is described and some results of structural and compositional characterization are given.
