TLDR
The platinum silyl-substituted η2-disilene complex (Me3P)2Pt[Si(SiMe2(t-Bu))2]2 (4) was synthesized by the reaction of cis-(Me 3P) 2PtCl2 (5) with 1,2-dilithiotetrakis(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)disilane (6) in THF at −50 °C for 3 h as mentioned in this paper.About:

Isolable silylene, disilenes, trisilaallene, and related compounds
TL;DR: In this article, a trisilaallene, the first stable compound with formal sp-hybridized silicon atom, was synthesized using the silylene, which was thermally very stable and showed remarkable spiroconjugation between the two ring p systems.

A dihydrodisilene transition metal complex from an N-heterocyclic carbene-stabilized silylene monohydride.
TL;DR: Through the use of an N-heterocyclic carbene and the super-silyl group (tBu3Si), the novel silylene hydride 2 could be synthesized and isolated in 41% yield, which represents the first example of a dihydrodisilene transition metal complex.

Activation of a SiSi Bond by η1-Coordination to a Transition Metal
TL;DR: X-ray diffraction studies on 2 reveal that the Si=Si bond is significantly longer than that in the precursor 1, and the Zr-Si distance is considerably smaller than the corresponding distance in 3, suggesting a certain degree of electron donation toward the 16e- zirconium center.
