TLDR
In this paper, the extraction of 30 metals (Be, Mg, Ca. Sr, Ba, Sc, La, Ti, Zr, Th, Cr, Mo, U, Mn, Co, Fe, Ni, Pd, Cu, Ag, Zn, Cd, Hg, Al, Ga, In, Tl, Sn, Pb and Bi) by solutions of acetylacetone, benzoylacetone and dibenzoylmethane in benzene was studied in relation to the pH values for extraction.

Mesostructured hybrid organic–inorganic thin films

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the design and different synthetic routes that lead to hybrid thin films that have a periodically organized porosity, the role of the organic functionality and the resulting mesophase, the comparison between one-pot and post-synthesis approaches and the applications domain of this mesostructured hybrid film are described and discussed.

Redox speciation of plutonium

TL;DR: In this article, the importance of the insolubility of Pu(V)O 2 + is discussed, and the merits and limitations of some chemical separation techniques used to study redox speciation of plutonium are presented, and recommendations made for obtaining reliable oxidation state distribution data.

Advanced selective optical sensors based on periodically organized mesoporous hybrid silica thin films

TL;DR: Mesoporous thin films functionalized with silylated [small beta]-diketone compounds with symmetry mesostructure dependent on the probe quantity were used as fast uranyl species sensors with high selectivity and sensitivity.

Separation of actinides in different oxidation states from neutral solutions by solvent extraction

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used dibenzoylmethane extractant for fast, efficient separation of actinide elements in the III, IV, V, and VI oxidation states in aqueous solutions of neutral pH.
