The isotopic composition of atmospheric carbon monoxide
TLDR
In this paper, the isotopic composition of atmospheric CO in the northern hemisphere has been studied and the most likely nature of these sources is discussed and the production rates estimated. But the isotope pattern is different from that for CO from automobile engine combustion, whether compared to combustion in the same region as the air sample or to an estimated world average.About:

Mass-independent isotope effects in planetary atmospheres and the early solar system.
TL;DR: Observed mass-independent meteoritic oxygen and sulfur isotopic compositions may derive from chemical processes in the presolar nebula, and their distributions could provide insight into early solar system evolution.

Gaseous metabolism in lake sediments and paddy soils and the production of atmospheric methane and hydrogen
TL;DR: In contrast to the upland field, the paddy field is usually left under water from late spring to the autumn harvest as mentioned in this paper, and the arable soil changes from an oxidizing to a reducing condition because of microbiological activity.
