Journal ArticleDOI
Zinc oxide nanoclusters and nanoparticles as a drug carrier for cisplatin and nedaplatin anti-cancer drugs, insights from DFT methods and MC simulation
TL;DR: In this paper, the ability of (Zno) n (n = 2-5 and 12) nanoclusters and ZnO nanoparticles to act as a drug carrier for cisplatin and nedaplatin drugs by DFT methods and MC simulation was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on denitration performance of multi element modified MIL-101 (Fe) at low temperature
Shuqin Wang,Xiaoxue Li,Jinjin Wu +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effect of SCR denitrification at low temperature was investigated with high concentration of NOx as an adsorption object, and the results showed that when the flue gas temperature is 200 °C and the NOx concentration is up to 1640 mg/m3, the removal efficiency of NO can reach 86% under the optimal conditions, which is 1.5 times higher than that before modification.

Dynamics of Pd Dopant Atoms inside Au Nanoclusters during Catalytic CO Oxidation.
Clara Garcia,Vera Truttmann,Irene Lopez,Thomas Haunold,Carlo Marini,Christoph Rameshan,Ernst Pittenauer,Peter Kregsamer,Klaus Dobrezberger,Michael Stöger-Pollach,Noelia Barrabés,Günther Rupprechter +11 more
TL;DR: The combined analysis of in situ XAFS, operando DRIFTS, and ex situ XPS revealed the structural evolution of bimetallic PdAu nanoclusters, yielding a Pd single-site catalyst of 2.7 nm average particle size with improved CO oxidation activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Growth Dynamics and Processes Governing the Stability of Electrodeposited Size-Controlled Cubic Cu Catalysts.
TL;DR: The results indicate that the cube growth starts from nuclei formed during the first cycle, followed by a layered deposition and partial dissolution of new material in subsequent cycles, and the concentration of Cl– ions in solution controls the cube size, shape, and coverage.
Journal ArticleDOI
Advances in Enhancing Luminescence of Atomically Precise Ag Nanoclusters
Jie Yang,Jie Yang,Rongchao Jin +2 more
TL;DR: Atomically precise metal nanoclusters (NCs) in the quantum size range have emerged as a unique class of materials and exhibit intriguing, molecular-like properties such as excitonic absorptio....
Journal ArticleDOI
Determining and Controlling Cu-Substitution Sites in Thiolate-Protected Gold-Based 25-Atom Alloy Nanoclusters
Sakiat Hossain,Daiki Suzuki,Takeshi Iwasa,Ryo Kaneko,Taiyo Suzuki,Sayuri Miyajima,Yuki Iwamatsu,Stephan Pollitt,Tokuhisa Kawawaki,Noelia Barrabés,Günther Rupprechter,Yuichi Negishi +11 more
TL;DR: Alloying has been studied actively for thiolate (SR)-protected metal nanoclusters (NCs) because heteroatom mixing enables the creation of novel electronic structures, physical/chemical properties, etc as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nonequilibrium Flow-Synthesis of Solid-Solution Alloy Nanoparticles: From Immiscible Binary to High-Entropy Alloys
Kohei Kusada,Tomokazu Yamamoto,Takaaki Toriyama,Syo Matsumura,Katsutoshi Sato,Katsutoshi Nagaoka,Kenji Terada,Ikeda Yasuyuki,Yoshinari Hirai,Hiroshi Kitagawa +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, solid-solution alloy nanoparticles (NPs), where the constituents mix at the atomic level, show a variety of attractive properties due to their tunable electronic structures.
