TLDR
Several metal oxides of the perovskite structure have been prepared and used as catalyst for the oxidation of CO and C2H4 as mentioned in this paper, and the reaction rates are positive fractional order with respect to both oxygen and the oxidant, and are slightly inhibited by H2O.

Low-temperature oxidation of CO catalysed by Co 3 O 4 nanorods

TL;DR: Tricobalt tetraoxide nanorods not only catalyse CO oxidation at temperatures as low as –77 °C but also remain stable in a moist stream of normal feed gas, showing the importance of morphology control in the preparation of base transition-metal oxides as highly efficient oxidation catalysts.

The oxidation of hydrocarbons and CO over metal oxides: III. Co3O4

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the catalytic performance of CO, C2H4, and Co3O4 supported on alumina and found that the specific catalytic activity over the CoAl2O4 powder is the highest among the various metal oxides previously studied.
