The structure and electrical conductivity of Mn-Cd ferrite
TLDR
In this article, the activation energy of the conduction mechanism and log ϱ27°C increase with increasing cadmium content, which affects the exchange interaction mechanism in tetrahedral (A) sites and octahedral (B) sites.Abstract:
Polycrystalline samples of mixed ferrite Mnl −xCdxFe2O4, wherex = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8, were studied by X-ray analysis and d.c. electrical conductivity. lt was found that the calculated lattice parameter (a0) increases from 0155 to 0.861 nm according to increases inx from 0 to 0.8. The apparent density and theoretical density exhibit the same behaviour. lt was also found that the activation energy of the conduction mechanism and log ϱ27° C increase with increasing cadmium content, which affect the exchange interaction mechanism in tetrahedral (A) sites and octahedral (B) sites.read more

Structural, dielectric properties and AC conductivity of Ni(1−x)ZnxFe2O4 spinel ferrites
TL;DR: In this paper, the average crystallite size was calculated using line broadening in X-ray diffraction patterns, and structural parameters like lattice constant ( a ), jump rate ( L ), polaron radius ( r p ), bond lengths ( R A, R B ) and porosity ( P ) were determined from XRD data.

Structural, electrical and transport phenomena of Co ferrite substituted by Cd
TL;DR: A series of samples of Co1−xCdxFe2O4 were prepared by the usual ceramic technique and sintered at 1473 K for 6 hours as discussed by the authors. And the X-ray analysis showed the existence of single phase spinel structure with the increase of lattice parameter and density with increasing Cd contents whereas the porosity decreases.

Electrical transport properties of cadmium substituted copper ferrites
TL;DR: In this article, the Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity properties of cadmium substituted copper ferrites have been investigated from room temperature to well beyond the Curie temperature, showing that the activation energy in the ferrimagnetic region is in general less than that in the paramagnetic region.
