Journal ArticleDOI
Structure, crystallization and morphology of poly (aryl ether ketone ketone)
TL;DR: In this article, the structure, crystallization and morphology of poly (aryl ether ketone ketone)s (PEKKs) prepared from diphenyl ether (DPE), terephthalic acid (T) and isophthalic acid(I) and having different T/I ratios have been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cooperative relaxations in amorphous polymers studied by thermally stimulated current depolarization
Bryan B. Sauer,Peter Avakian +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used thermally stimulated current depolarization (t.s.c.) to study the relaxations in amorphous polymers including poly (ethyl methacrylate) (PEMA), poly (methyl methacylate) (PMMA), polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC) and polyarylate (PAR) over temperature ranges covering the β and α (glass transition) regions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Morphology and dynamical mechanical properties of poly ether ketone ketone (PEKK) with meta phenyl links
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the Terephthalyl/Isophthalyl isomers (T/I) ratio on the vitreous phase is investigated by combining differential scanning calorimetry and dynamic mechanical analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Some comments on the significance of the compensation effect observed in thermally stimulated current experiments
TL;DR: In this paper, the fine structure of the thermally stimulated depolarization currents spectrum is analyzed and the physical significance of the compensation law is analyzed, and it is suggested that the lag between the compensation temperature and the glass transition temperature is related to the breadth of the glass phase transition.
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystallinity and dielectric relaxations in semi-crystalline poly(ether ether ketone)
TL;DR: In this article, the Maxwell-Wagner-Sillars (MWS) relaxation is studied for semi-crystalline polymers poly (ether ether ketone) (PEEK), in the range 20-Hz-1-MHz and temperature varying from 80 to 330°C.
