TLDR
A brief pedagogical overview of the phenomenology of Z' gauge bosons is presented in this paper, where the role of the ILC in determining Z' properties is also discussed.Abstract:
A brief pedagogical overview of the phenomenology of Z' gauge bosons is presented. Such particles can arise in various electroweak extensions of the Standard Model (SM). We provide a quick survey of a number of Z' models, review the current constraints on the possible properties of a Z' and explore in detail how the LHC may discover and help elucidate the nature of these new particles. We provide an overview of the Z' studies that have been performed by both ATLAS and CMS. The role of the ILC in determining Z' properties is also discussed.read more

Improved constraints on Z′ bosons from electroweak precision data
TL;DR: In this article, the mass of the neutral Z' boson, predicted in all such models, and on the Z?Z' mixing angle, were investigated and the precision electroweak (EW) data strongly constrain?ZZ' to very small values and for most models, they find lower limits on MZ' of (1TeV).

Heavy vector triplets: bridging theory and data
Duccio Pappadopulo,Duccio Pappadopulo,Andrea Thamm,Riccardo Torre,Riccardo Torre,Andrea Wulzer +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a model-independent approach is proposed to study narrow resonances of a heavy vector triplet of the Standard Model (SM) group for illustration, which is based on a simplified phenomenological Lagrangian.

Where in the brain is morality? Everywhere and maybe nowhere.
Liane Young,James Dungan +1 more
TL;DR: This review will discuss early assumptions ofdomain-specificity in moral neuroscience as well as subsequent investigations of domain-general contributions, taking emotion and social cognition as case studies and considering possible cognitive accounts of a domain-specific morality.

Candidates for inelastic dark matter
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the general properties that a viable IDM candidate must have and search for simple models that realize these properties in natural ways, and show that an inelastic dark matter candidate with electroweak interactions can naturally satisfy observational constraints while simultaneously yielding the correct thermal relic abundance.

Implications of $D^0$ - $\bar{D}^0$ Mixing for New Physics
TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide a comprehensive, up-to-date analysis of possible New Physics contributions to the mass difference {Delta}M{sub D} in D{sup 0-{bar D}{sup 0} mixing.

Large Mass Hierarchy from a Small Extra Dimension
TL;DR: In this paper, the weak scale is generated from the Planck scale through an exponential hierarchy, but this exponential arises not from gauge interactions but from the background metric, which is a slice of spacetime.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electroweak symmetry breaking from dimensional deconstruction
TL;DR: In this paper, a new class of four-dimensional theories for natural electroweak symmetry breaking, relying neither on supersymmetry nor on strong dynamics at the TeV scale, was proposed.

The Littlest Higgs
TL;DR: In this paper, an economical theory of natural electroweak symmetry breaking was proposed, which stabilizes the electroweak scale with a naturally light Higgs and weakly coupled new physics at TeV energies.

High-precision QCD at hadron colliders: Electroweak gauge boson rapidity distributions at next-to-next-to leading order
TL;DR: In this article, the rapidity distributions of W and Z bosons produced at the Tevatron and the LHC through next-to-next-to leading order in QCD are computed.
