Overall, the proposed framework can be considered as a promising tool for quick crash detection in mixed traffic flow environment under various visibility conditions.
The proposed algorithm can be used as an integrated crash detection algorithm for crash warning, avoidance, and mitigation purposes while incorporating tracking information from multiple sources.
Our proposed framework allows the creation, discovery and maintenance of continuous services such as crash detection.
To widen the coverage of crash detection systems to include various crash modes, driver behaviors that are dependent on road scenes and vehicle dynamics should be considered.
Application: These findings should facilitate developing a multimodality integrated crash alert approach for vehicles equipped with multiple crash avoidance systems.

In the past five years, Malaysian roads have faced various challenges. These include issues related to road safety, such as poor visibility of heavy vehicles at night, adverse weather conditions like heavy rain reducing visibility and causing aquaplaning, fatal accidents due to poor road conditions like horizontal alignment problems, environmental concerns such as urban heat island effects and floods on roads, and problems of congestion, accidents, and air pollution on the highway network due to rapid urbanization and industrialization. These challenges highlight the need for improved road safety measures, better road infrastructure, and the implementation of green road standards to address environmental issues in Malaysia.
