Perhaps no other discipline has experienced the dilemma that agricultural education at the secondary level has over the years .Seemingly, the dilemma is one of misconception based on the belief that agricultural education programs are designed to train students only for production agriculture.

Unlike most indicators of education (e. g., a year of school), a diploma is essentially a piece of paper and, hence, by itself cannot affect productivity.
However, it should be noted that while diplomas seem to matter, it is not true that only diplomas matter, since even after controlling for diploma years the schooling coefficient, albeit smaller than before, is still substantial.
However, it may take many years for better and more sustainable agricultural policies at national and international level to be devised and brought into being.
However, the concepts may apply to agricultural universities in many countries.
They provide the first comprehensive study of the history and current state of the highest degree of the agricultural economics profession, show how the degree and the journals in which dissertation research is published have changed over time, and discuss how the profession has evolved from farm economics to an agricultural and other applied economics fields.
Therefore, the concerned authority can positively think about the existing curriculum of the Diploma Agricultural Education based on the attitude of the students and can adopt sustainable agricultural education which can enable the students to think and practice sustainability in agriculture and other fields.
From the data it was concluded that many of Indiana’s Agricultural Science and Business instructors have responded positively to the call for the integration of science into the agricultural education curriculum.
