Abstract: A method is disclosed for defining an integrated circuit. The method includes generating a digital data file that includes both electrical connection information and physical topology information for a number of circuit components. The method also includes operating a computer to execute a layout generation program. The layout generation program reads the electrical connection and physical topology information for each of the number of circuit components from the digital data file and automatically creates one or more layout structures necessary to form each of the number of circuit components in a semiconductor device fabrication process, such that the one or more layout structures comply with the physical topology information read from the digital data file. The computer is also operated to store the one or more layout structures necessary to form each of the number of circuit components in a digital format on a computer readable medium.

Abstract: The invention relates to a manufacturing method of a printed circuit board, based on the interconnection of electroplating pore filling and a semi-additive forming layer and a fine circuit. The method comprises the following steps: (1) a dielectric layer is manufactured on the substrate; (2) blind hole structure is manufactured in the dielectric layer; (3) after the blind hole structure is completed, a first conductive seed layer is manufactured; (4) a solid conductive via hole is manufactured by adopting the method of electroplating pore filling,and a copper layer grows and covers on the first seed layer in the process of electroplating pore filling; (5) the copper layer and the first seed layer are removed, and a solid copper cylinder in the solid conductive via hole is retained; (6) a second seed layer of semi-additive manufacturing circuit is manufactured; (7) a photosensitive thin film is glued, an anti-plating layer is formed by transferring diagram and the circuit diagram is exposed: (8) the circuit in the circuit diagram is thickened; (9) the photosensitive thin film and the exposed second seed layer are removed, the thickenedcircuit is retained, and a needed conductive diagram is formed; (10) all the steps from (1) to (9) are repeated on the new circuit surface, and the manufacture of fine circuits of following circuit layers and the connection of the solid conductive via holes in the layers are completed.

Abstract: This paper describes a tool for formal modelling relay interlocking systems and explains how it has been stepwise, formally developed using the RAISE method The developed tool takes the circuit diagrams of a relay interlocking system as input and gives as result a state transition system modelling the dynamic behaviour of the interlocking system, ie the dynamic behaviour of the circuits depicted in the diagrams The resulting state transition system (model) is expressed in the SAL language such that the SAL model checker can be used to model check required properties of this model of the interlocking system The tool has been applied to the circuit diagrams of Stenstrup station in Denmark and the resulting formal model has then been model checked to satisfy a number of required safety properties

Abstract: Memristor M is an ideal circuit element discovered recently, which relates the charge q and the magnetic flux A in a circuit and complements a resistor R, a capacitor C and an inductor L as an ingredient of ideal electrical circuits. The resistance of memristor changes automatically as its voltage changing, which can be used as a tunable parameter in control systems. Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is the most popular controller for the majority of control systems. However, it is difficult to adjust the PID parameters. Once the PID parameters are adjusted, they remain unchanged during the control systems operation. In this paper, we present a PID controller with a memristor, called M-PID controller. Based on a conventional PID circuit schematic and a M-PID circuit schematic, we establish their mathematic models. Then we analyze the dynamic performance of M-PID controller with a sinusoidal voltage input and an impulse voltage input. We show that M-PID controller acts more rapidly and strongly than PID controller, furthermore some parameters of M-PID controller adjust adaptively with the input.

Abstract: This paper presents a high speed phase frequency detector with charge pump and second order loop filter for low jitter and low power phase lock loop. The high speed phase frequency detector with dead zone compensation has been proposed. The paper contains the detailed circuit diagram of PFD, charge pump and loop filter with 1.2v power supply, 2ps jitter, and 1GHz input frequency, 22µwatt power dissipation. The design has been realized using .18um CMOS technology.

The teaching instrument board comprises a circuit principle board and an electric control mechanism board, a circuit schematic diagram of the air conditioner host is printed on the circuit principle board, an electric control system wiring diagram is printed on the front side of the electric control mechanism board, and the electric control component, the lightening proof module, the frequency conversion module, the outdoor unit integrated circuit board, and the indoor set integrated circuit board are arranged correspondingly on the front side of the electric control mechanism board. Conducting wires are connected on the back side of the electric control mechanism board according to the electric control system wiring diagram, thus the outdoor unit integrated circuit board and the indoor set integrated circuit board on the electric control mechanism board can be electrically connected with the executive mechanism. The experiment method of the teaching instrument is visual in principle and abundant in content, and the teaching instrument is especially suitable for having experiment teaching of the AC frequency conversion multi-connected air conditioner integrated control system for students majored in refrigeration, electricity and household electrical appliance, etc.

Abstract: Based on working flow and control demand for figuration machine of the grinding material, a work process sketch map is drawn. According to the logic design method and step of electrical control circuitry, a logic relation chart can be finished. Considering basic logic adaptable condition of relay expression, operation component work zone must be arranged reasonably and operation component logic expression must be expressed clearly and then the operation component logic expression can be ultimately converted into equivalent electrical control circuit diagram so as to realize control requirements.

Abstract: The objective of this paper was to investigate that the ultrawideband (UWB) low noise amplifier (LNA) was carried out by utilizing a two-stage cascade circuit schematic associated with inductive-series peaking technique, which could improve the bandwidth in the 3–10 GHz microwave monolithic integrated circuit (MMIC). The proposed UWB LNA amplifier was implemented with both co-planer waveguide (CPW) layout and 0.15-µm GaAs D-mode pHEMT technology. Based on those technologies, this proposed UWB LNA which the chip size was shown of 1.5 mm × 1.4 mm, obtained a flatness gain 3-dB bandwidth of 4–8 GHz, the constant gain of 4 dB, noise figure lower than 5 dB, and the return loss better than −8.5 dB of input matching. Based on our experimental results, the low noise amplifier using the inductive-series peaking technique could obtain the wider band-width, low power consumption and high flatness of gain in the 3–10 GHz. Finally, the overall LNA characterization exhibited ultra-wide band-width and low noise characterization, which illustrated that the proposed UWB LNA had the circuit compact size and exhibited favorable RF characteristics. This UWB LNA circuit demonstrated the high RF characterization and could provide for the low noise microwave circuit applications.

Abstract: The invention discloses a multi-layer printed circuit board machining process, which sequentially comprises the following steps: 1) manufacturing a circuit diagram and frame diagrams on a copper clad board, wherein the frame diagrams comprise a frame diagram I and a frame diagram II, the circuit diagram, the frame diagram I and the frame diagram II are sequentially arranged from the central zone of the copper clad board to the outside, and the copper residual rate of the frame diagram I is smaller than the copper residual rate of the frame diagram II; 2) laminating the copper clad board into a multi-layer circuit board, and milling off the outer edge of the multi-layer circuit board comprising the frame diagram II; 3) manufacturing a through hole, an outer diagram and a solder mask of themulti-layer circuit board; and 4) milling the multi-layer circuit board into the designed finished size. By adopting the machining process of the invention, the machining precision of the PCB is high, and the size of the PCB is accurate.

Abstract: With the development of power system, the capacity has been increasing. So configuring large power supply in high load density grids and interconnections between power grids will cause enormous short circuit current, which will put forward a more stringent requirement for electrical equipment. If the short circuit current rating of the equipment in system is exceeded, the equipment must be replaced, which is a very cost- and time-intensive procedure. A fault current limiter (FCL) offers an alternative in such case. The purpose of this paper is to offer a reference of choosing FCL by analyzing the characteristics of several typical FCL and comparing the advantages and disadvantages between them. First, this paper attempts to give an overview of fault current limiting measures for medium and high voltage applications. Then several representative FCL are examined with an emphasis upon the solid-state fault current limiter (SSFCL). Finally, the demonstration of the FCL based on coupling autotransformer is introduced. The main circuit diagram and control strategy used are also presented.

Abstract: A hardware description language representation of an original circuit block containing one or more hierarchies may be obtained. Some, or all of the hierarchies may be dissolved to access each circuit component within the original circuit block at a same level of hierarchy. Designated circuit components may then be grouped together to create new circuit blocks at a new level of hierarchy. Components and signals within each new circuit block may be renamed to match logically corresponding components and signals within each other new circuit block. Missing pins may be added for each new circuit block, and connected to respective associated signals within the new circuit block, and logically equivalent pins may be given the same name to ensure the new circuit blocks are logically equivalent to each other and have identical interfaces. One of the new circuit blocks may be selected for physical build to obtain one or more physical instances corresponding to the selected new circuit block, and a top-level build may link each new circuit block instance to one of those one or more physical instances.

The layout diagram is checked to determine whether the component is connected to the power transmission line, and further checked to determine whether more than one ground pins of the component is connected to the power transmission line. Vias that are shared by two or more ground pins of the component are determined if more than one ground pin is connected to the power transmission line. Shared vias are marked on the layout diagram.

The invention also provides a circuit board manufactured by using the method for manufacturing the circuit board, and the circuit board is relatively light and thin.

Abstract: Based on the algorithm and control strategies of automatic transmission in the Truck, electronic control unit (ECU) are designed. Furthermore, a design model is applied to optimize shift quality and also to reduce test time. The circuit diagram of electronic control unit (ECU) hardware composes of power supply module, signal input channels, signal output channels, data storage module, driver circuits, and communication interface module. They are designed and then ECU hardware is manufactured. Installed in TEREX TR100 mining truck, the test results of ECU system is satisfied and worked stably and reliably.

Abstract: The invention provides an automatic method of the wiring design of the circuit board and the method is used in the computer with a Design Entry HDL platform. The method comprises the following steps: setting the output format of the geometric rules of the wiring design in the Design Entry HDL platform; creating a circuit board file; setting the electrical rules and geometric rules of the wiring design, outputting the rules to the circuit board file; and importing the electrical rules and geometric rules of the wiring design in the circuit board file to a wiring design circuit diagram. The invention also provides an automatic system of the wiring design of the circuit board. By using the method and system of the invention, the layout engineer does not need to input the geometric rules manually and the efficiency and accuracy of the wiring design can be increased.

Abstract: In a method for optimizing an order in which certain points on a circuit board can be tested and evaluated, a coordinate system is established in a circuit diagram of a circuit board, and at least one locating point is preset. When an operator selects a signal path routing within the circuit diagram, the method can display the testing points in the selected signal path routing on a display device. After calculating the distance between each of the testing points and each of the at least one locating point, a group of distances is obtained. By comparing the distances, the minimum distance can be determined from the group of distances. The method further optimizes the order of the testing points according to the distance between each of the testing points and the locating point that consists of the minimum distance.

Abstract: An electric circuit representation of a side-coupled single-mode microwave ring resonator is presented. The ring resonator is coupled to the feed lines along a quarter-wavelength of its side to exhibit a single-mode bandpass response with two transmission zeros. Using the properties and the circuit model of a coupled-line, the complete diagram of the ring resonator is derived. The diagram will be useful to construct mathematical equations to represent the ring resonator for future development of its synthesis. Example of utilization of the diagram is given to show its feasibility.

Abstract: A fast analog method of input-signal prediction is proposed for predictive ADCs, which are noted for not using a sample-and-hold amplifier. The prediction method is implemented in a 100-MHz, 14-bit ADC to be manufactured by 0.25-μm process technology. A block diagram of the ADC is presented, together with a circuit diagram of the differentiator used in its analog relative prediction unit. The performance of the ADC is estimated with simulation tools from Cadence Design Systems.

Abstract: The technology of GPS, Radio Communication, and an Embedded System are used to design a vehicle-mounted anti-collision device in the paper. Its core CPU is the 32-bit ARM11 microprocessor, named S3C6410 that processes information in the system. The circuit system consists of 8 functional modules, of which the circuit diagram is presented in the paper, and the system's principle working and the function of every module are illustrated. WINCE6.0 is selected as ARM11'S operating system because a GPS navigation program with map will be running. The GPS information of a car is transmitted to the other car by an RF module, of which ECCM is enhanced by some measures of electromagnetic shielding. Then, in order to get the position of cars, a position judgment algorithm is presented based on the theory that a curve between two points in the range of 50m is similar to a line seen from the Earth, and based on the control of the updated GPS data, an algorithm that allows wrong position broadcasting to disappear is also presented to resolve the problem of broadcasting the wrong position. At last, the functions of the device meet the expected requirements through testing.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of manufacturing flexible circuit board by utilizing washing technology, which selects polymer material like PET, PI, PP, PS, PMMA, PC, PU, PBT, ABS and Nylon etc. as substrate material. The method comprises the following procedures: printing in the substrate material using hydrophilic material to form a disjunction layer without reserved circuit diagram; attaching conductive material to reserved circuit diagram in the way of sputter or vapor plating, or processing electroplating treatment as needed, to make layer of conductive material thicker; tearing off release layer by water washing to produce flexible printed circuit board. No wastewater pollution problem during the process because acid washing and alkali washing is not needed, and quality yield high, the flexible circuit board can be transmitted to effluence to be made as internal and external components of all kinds of electronic product after directly after molding and cutting.

Abstract: The invention discloses a teaching instrument for an alternating-current variable-frequency multi-unit air conditioner integrated control system. The teaching instrument comprises an air conditioner host, an electrical control system and a teaching instrument board, wherein the electrical control system comprises an electrical control component, a sensor, an outdoor unit integrated circuit board,an indoor unit integrated circuit board and an executing mechanism which is driven by the outdoor unit integrated circuit board and the indoor unit integrated circuit board; the electrical control system also comprises a lightning protection module and a frequency conversion module; the teaching instrument board comprises a circuit principle board and an electrical control mechanism board; a schematic circuit diagram of the air conditioner host is printed on the circuit principle board; an electrical control system wiring diagram is printed and the electrical control component, the lightning protection module, the frequency conversion module, the outdoor unit integrated circuit board and the indoor integrated circuit board are arranged on the front surface of the electrical control mechanism board; and a wire is connected on the back face of the electrical control mechanism board according to the electrical control system wiring diagram, so that the outdoor unit integrated circuit board and the indoor integrated circuit board on the electrical control mechanism board are electrically connected with the executing mechanism.
