Effects of neutron exposure on the energy resolution of Ge(Hp) detectors
TL;DR: In this paper, the energy resolution of a high purity Ge detector with an efficiency of 70% was measured after it was exposed to increasing integrated fluxes of fast neutrons, produced by the reaction p+natCu → Zn+n at an incident laboratory energy of 6 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper , the first observations of high-spin states above the 212 Po (18 + ) isomer, by virtue of the selectivity obtained via ion-by-ion identification of 238 U fragmentation products, were reported.

Search for the Jacobi Instability in Rapidly Rotating 46Ti* Nuclei
A. Maj,M. Kmiecik,W. Królas,J. Styczen,A. Bracco,F. Camera,B. Million,J. J. Gaardhøje,B. Herskind,M. Kicińska-Habior,J. Kownacki,W. E. Ormand +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the possible existence of Jacobi shape transition in hot 46Ti at high angular momenta was investigated with the Giant Dipole Resonance exclusive experiments, and the GDR spectra and the angular distributions were consistent with predictions of the thermal shape fluctuation model indicating elongated nuclear shapes.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Properties of giant resonances at zero and finite temperature
TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of the isoscalar giant monopole resonance in 208Pb at zero temperature are studied in a self-consistent model which employs a Skyrme-type force and compared with experimental data.
