The γ-decay of the GDR built on superdeformed states in 143 Eu

TL;DR: A search for the γ decay of the giant dipole resonance built on superdeformed (SD) nuclear configurations of 143Eu was made, using the reaction 110Pd(37Cl, 4n)143Eu at 165 MeV as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Manifestation of the Berry phase in the atomic nucleus 213Pb

TL;DR: In this paper, a newly observed isomer and its measured decay properties indicate that states in 213Pb are characterized by the seniority quantum number that counts the nucleons not in pairs coupled to angular momentum J=0.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spin-alignment and g-factor measurement of the I^{\pi} = 12+ isomer in 192Pb produced in the relativistic-energy fragmentation of a 238U beam

TL;DR: The feasibility of measuring g -factors using the TDPAD method applied to high-energy, heavy fragmentation products is explored in this paper, where the results demonstrate that such heavy nuclei produced in a fragmentation reaction with a relativistic beam are sufficiently well spin-aligned.
