Journal ArticleDOI

Fragmentation of the Decay from the Superdeformed Yrast Band in 192Hg.

TL;DR: The fluctuations of the one-dimensional quasicontinuum spectrum are studied with the fluctuation analysis method, which shows that of the order of a few thousand different transitions are available in the first step of the decay-out cascades.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nuclear level-density parameter in hot nuclei

TL;DR: It is found that the large-amplitude motion of the nuclear surface has little influence on {ital a} and that the observed temperature and angular momentum behavior is properly explained through the thermal properties of the energy-dependent effective mass.
Journal ArticleDOI

Decay properties of 68,69,70Mn: Probing collectivity up to N = 44 in Fe isotopic chain

TL;DR: In this paper, the β-delayed neutron emission probabilities have been extracted for these decays, together with the first experimental information on excited states populated in 69,70Fe.
Journal ArticleDOI

The giant dipole resonance at high excitation energies

TL;DR: In this article, the evolution of centroid energy, width and strength of the giant dipole resonance state has been investigated as a function of the excitation energy of the composite system.
