Journal ArticleDOI

A Study of Langmuir and Langmuir−Blodgett Films of Polyaniline

TL;DR: In this paper, a stable monolayer of polyaniline (EB) at the air−water interface has been obtained, employing N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) as processing solvent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure of CdS nanoparticles containing cadmium arachidate LB films

TL;DR: In this paper, a 30 min exposure to H2S gas for different durations was shown to reveal an absorption edge at 455-460 nm in a Y-type cadmium arachidate film which does not change appreciably on further exposure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterization of mixed LB films of polyaniline and cadmium arachidate

TL;DR: In this paper, a multilayer mixture of polyaniline and cadmium arachidate has been transferred uniformly onto substrates as Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) multilayers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Variation of monolayer behaviour and molecular packing in zinc arachidate LB films with subphase pH

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the properties of multilayer LB films of zinc arachidate (ZnA) and found that the monolayer stability was strongly dependent on the sub-phase pH.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure of CdS-Cd-arachidate/arachidic acid composite multilayers

TL;DR: In this article, a composite multilayer consisting of semiconducting CdS distributed in Cd-arachidate/arachidic acid layers was prepared by exposing the precursor Cd S to H 2 S and the modified multilayers were studied by grazing incidence reflection/diffraction using X-rays from a conventional generator and a synchrotron source.
