TL;DR: In this paper, a comparative study of methods that aim to fill the gaps to correct for the systematic effects is carried out, motivated by the analysis of the VIMOS Public Extragalactic Redshift Survey (VIPERS), a single-pass observations with the VLT Visible Multi-Object Spectrograph (VIMOS) with gaps representing 25% of the surveyed area and an average sampling rate of 35%.
