Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of low temperature on the cold start gaseous emissions from light duty vehicles fuelled by ethanol-blended gasoline
Michael Clairotte,Thomas Adam,A. A. Zardini,U. Manfredi,Giorgio Martini,A. Krasenbrink,Aurore Vicet,Eric Tournié,Covadonga Astorga +8 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Assessment of on-road emissions of four Euro V diesel and CNG waste collection trucks for supporting air-quality improvement initiatives in the city of Milan
Georgios Fontaras,Giorgio Martini,Urbano Manfredi,Alessandro Marotta,A. Krasenbrink,Francesco Maffioletti,Roberto Terenghi,Mauro Colombo +7 more
TL;DR: It was shown that existing emission factors reflect well the operation for CNG but were not so accurate when it came to the diesel engine truck particularly for CO(2) and NO(x), and that the limits imposed by current emission standards are not necessarily reflected in real world operation.
Journal ArticleDOI
On-road Emissions and Fuel Economy of Light Duty Vehicles using PEMS: Chase-Testing Experiment
Journal ArticleDOI
Online characterization of regulated and unregulated gaseous and particulate exhaust emissions from two-stroke mopeds: A chemometric approach
Michael Clairotte,Thomas Adam,R. Chirico,R. Chirico,Barouch Giechaskiel,U. Manfredi,M. Elsasser,Martin Sklorz,Peter F. DeCarlo,Peter F. DeCarlo,M. F. Heringa,Ralf Zimmermann,Giorgio Martini,A. Krasenbrink,Aurore Vicet,Eric Tournié,André S. H. Prévôt,Covadonga Astorga +17 more
TL;DR: The results showed that the after-treatment used to comply with the latest EURO-2 emission standard may be responsible for the production of more potentially harmful particles compared to the EURo-1 moped emissions.
