Journal ArticleDOI

Large carbon‐sink potential by Kyoto forests in Sweden—a case study on willow plantations

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured CO 2 fluxes in a 75ha short-rotation willow plantation at Enkoping, central Sweden, which was used locally for combined heat and power production.
Book ChapterDOI

Coniferous Forests (Scots and Maritime Pine): Carbon and Water Fluxes, Balances, Ecological and Ecophysiological Determinants

TL;DR: In this paper, a synoptic synthesis of the results from the five EUROFLUX sites considered representative of the Pinus genus is presented, where short-term climatic conditions (temperature, precipitation, radiation) are considered as potentially important factors determining the functional responses of individual ecosystems, which are presented as the fluxes of carbon, water, and energy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Net CO2 emissions from a primary boreo-nemoral forest over a 10 year period

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the eddy covariance method to measure continuous carbon dioxide fluxes from a Swedish primary boreo-nemoral forest over a ten-year period.
