Journal ArticleDOI

Structural and electrochemical properties of LiCoO2 prepared by combustion synthesis

TL;DR: In this article, a small amount of the LiCoO2 phase was obtained directly from the combustion reaction, however, a heat treatment was necessary for the phase crystallization, performed at the temperature range from 400 up to 700 °C for 12 h.
Journal ArticleDOI

The thermoelastic bending and thermal diffusion processes influence on photoacoustic signal generation using open photoacoustic cell technique

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore the potential use of the OPC technique to study the effectiveness of thermoelastic bending process and thermal diffusion process on photoacoustic signal (S) generation in solids.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterization and chemoprotective activity of polyoxovanadates against DNA alkylation.

TL;DR: The direct reaction of B with increasing amounts of DMS in both buffered and non-buffered aqueous solutions revealed the sequential formation of severalVanadium(IV), vanadium(V) and mixed-valence aggregates of different nuclearities, whose relevance to the DNA-protecting activity is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of Fe3+ doped cerium–praseodymium oxide pigments

TL;DR: Inorganic pigments based on (0.95− x )CeO 2.(0.05)Pr 6 O 11.( x )α-Fe 2 O 3 ( x ǫ = 0.00; 0.01; 0., 0.02, 0.03 and 0.04) were synthesized by the solid state reaction method at 1300°C for 3h, and the modified sol-gel method at 900°C at 3h for 3H as discussed by the authors.
