Journal ArticleDOI
AES, XPS and SIMS characterization of YBa2Cu3O7 superconducting high Tc thin films
TL;DR: In this article, high Tc superconducting YBa2Cu3O7−x (YBCO) films 100-200 nm thick have been grown in situ by ion beam sputter co-deposition using four Kaufman ion beam sources.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural and electronic effects of Sr substitution for Ba in Y(Ba 1-x Sr x ) 2 Cu 3 O w at varying w
Journal ArticleDOI
Critical exponents and amplitudes of the ferromagnetic transition in La 0.1 Ba 0.9 V S 3
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the dc magnetization on sintered samples near the ferromagnetic transition and obtained results indicating that the universality class of magnetic interactions driving the transition changes from short to long range when cooling through.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rashba coupling amplification by a staggered crystal field
D. Santos-Cottin,Michele Casula,Gabriel Lantz,Yannick Klein,Luca Petaccia,Patrick Le Fèvre,François Bertran,Evangelos Papalazarou,Marino Marsi,Andrea Gauzzi +9 more
TL;DR: Here by means of angular resolved photoemission spectroscopy and first-principles calculations, evidence is given of a large Rashba coupling, leading to a remarkable band splitting up to 0.15 eV with hidden spin-chiral polarization in centrosymmetric BaNiS2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic structure of the high-density single-valent e g Jahn-Teller system LaMn 7 O 12
A. Prodi,E. Gilioli,R. Cabassi,Fulvio Bolzoni,F. Licci,Qingzhen Huang,Jeffrey W. Lynn,Marco Affronte,Andrea Gauzzi,M. Marezio +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the structural and physical properties of powder samples of the high-pressure LaMnO-7-O-12 compound were studied by means of neutron diffraction, dc magnetization, specific-heat, and dc electrical resistivity measurements.
